Our Solar Electric Systems
An off-grid path to energy independence!
Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How much does it cost?
Our off-grid solar electric systems generally start in the $25,000 to $30,000 range and go up from there. A 30% Federal Tax credit will help offset the cost. Your custom designed package is pre-wired and will include all of the major components needed to generate power independently. It also comes with free technical support – perfect for the self-installer.

2. How can I reduce the cost of my system?
Reduce your electrical demand. For every dollar you spend on energy efficiency in your home, you will save approximately $3 to $5 on your power system. While energy efficient lights and appliances will keep costs down, keep in mind that small solar electric systems are not practical for powering electric space heating systems or water heaters, air conditioners, electric stoves, or electric clothes dryers.

3. Do you install?
We currently do not offer installation. With an off-grid system you are your own power company, it’s best to gain intimate working knowledge of your system. With our free technical support and your hands on training, you should be in good shape to manage your own power system. Or hire a contractor to do any portion of the installation you prefer not to tackle. Either way, you’re in control of your installation costs.

4. Are there any rebates available?
A 30% Federal Tax credit is currently available. State and federal tax incentive information can be found at:
5. Can I buy a solar panel from you to add to my current system?
We sell only whole systems – custom designed to meet the owner’s needs. We do not sell components separately such as solar panels, batteries, solar lights, cables etc.

6. Do you have a catalog?
We do not have a catalog available, our systems are custom designed.

7. Where can I learn more about solar energy?
