Since he built his house 20 years ago, keeping it heated comfortably has always been a challenge for Rick S. in Readfield. Oil prices have skyrocketed over the years so he and his wife kept the thermostat at 62 degrees and left some of the rooms in their house unheated. They couldn't justify the cost of heating their entire 3500 square foot home.....until now.

Rick purchased a Central Boiler E-Classic 2400 and couldn't be happier. Most people will install their outdoor wood boiler in the fall before heating season begins, but Rick had a delay and didn't end up buying until January. A winter install was no problem! He managed to get his underground piping installed in December before the ground froze but he could have laid it above ground through the winter if necessary and then buried it in the spring.

Rick's new E-Classic has surpassed all of his expectations. It burns so clean that there is virtually no smoke and every room in his home is now heated to 72 degrees. His family is toasty warm and comfortable. In fact, he's even heating his garage. He's been bragging about how his boiler can take the heat in his garage from 10 degrees to 55 degrees in less than an hour.

Rick's been cutting wood off his property and he's actually been getting free wood from friends and neighbors too! Not only is he saving money on oil, but the fuel for his wood boiler has been free. At this rate, his new Central Boiler system will be paid off in 2-3 years.
