• How much does a system cost? Our pricing can be found on our Maxim Financing page. • Are Outdoor Wood Boilers regulated in Maine? Yes. The Maine Department of Environmental Protection adopted rules in 2007 related to outdoor wood boilers. Chapter 150 establishes requirements for emission standards, siting criteria, and labeling requirements for all outdoor wood boilers. • Do you offer delivery? Yes. We can deliver your new boiler to your home and set it down in the location you have chosen. If you prefer to pick it up at our office, we’ll be glad to use our equipment to load the boiler onto your trailer. • How far away from my house can I place the boiler? The E-Classic or Maxim is typically installed 30 to 200 feet from the home but can be located as far as 500 feet away. • How deep underground do I bury the ThermoPEX piping? The trench should be approximately 12- 18 inches deep. • Can I heat my pool with an outdoor furnace? Yes. Many customers heat their pool and/or spa with a Central Boiler outdoor furnace. • Can I heat more than one building? Yes. One of the many advantages of the E-Classic or Maxim is the ability to heat multiple buildings from one location. • Is the furnace pressurized or non-pressurized? Central Boiler outdoor furnaces are non-pressurized. Technically they are atmospheric vented, which means they are safe.
